Farewell Dinner (Included with the registration fee)

The farewell dinner is scheduled at 19.00 – 22.00 on Thursday July 3, 2008 at Cascades Plaza, Hyatt Regency Surabaya Hotel. All participants are encouraged to wear their traditional/national costumes during the farewell dinner and as a tradition of the ACCP meeting, each country will be called upon for a performance. Participant should bring their own music CD if necessary.

Language
The official language of the 8^th ACCP is English. No simultaneous translation is provided.

Smoking Policy
No smoking is allowed in the conference area.

Climate
The average temperature in Surabaya during the time of the conference is expected at 28-30^oC for day time and 20-25^oC for night time.

Time
Surabaya time is 7 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time.
Bali time is 8 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time.

Electricity
The electricity in Indonesia is standard: 220 volts, 50 Hz Ac. An adaptor of transformer is recommended for foreign appliances.

Certificate of Attendance
A certificate of attendance will be given at the end of the conference.

Airport Information
Surabaya (Juanda) International Airport is located 25 km from the centre of Surabaya.
Airport tax is collected at Juanda International Airport upon departure in amount of IDR 75,000 for international flight and IDR 30,000 for domestic flight.

Transportation
No transportation is provided.  The cost for taxi from Juanda International Airport to Hyatt Regency Hotel is about IDR 80,000.

Currency
Rupiah (IDR=Indonesian Rupiah) is the Indonesian currency. Bank notes are issued in denominations of IDR 1,000, IDR 5,000, IDR 10,000, IDR 50,000 and IDR 100,000.  There are IDR 50, IDR 100, IDR 500, and IDR 1,000 coins. Most foreign currencies and traveler’s check are easily exchanged at banks and hotels.  All major credit cards are widely accepted throughout Indonesia.

The organizing committee will not take any responsibility for accidents that might occur.  Participants are encouraged to obtain travel insurance (medical, personal, accident, and luggage) in their own country prior to departure.

Visa 

Free Tourist Visa
Immigration authority will provide Free Tourist Visas for a period of 30 days to national s from 12 countries only on the basis of reciprocity. The countries are Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, the Philippines, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, Chile, Morocco, Peru, Vietnam and Equador.  

Visa on Arrival (VOA)
Visa on arrival is valid for 30 days and maybe extended under the permission of Indonesia is conditions as follows, the natural disaster happens in the place that is visiting by the tourist. And if, the tourist is sick or got an accident during other visiting. VOA Will be given to citizens of Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Denmark, Canada, Finland, France, Germany,Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Norway, Poland, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, New Zealand, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States of America, Austria, Belgium, India, Ireland, Kuwait, Luxemburg, Maldives, Egypt, Oman, Portuguese, Qatar, The People of Republic China, Russian, Saudi Arabian, Spain, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece , Iran, Iceland, Laos PDR, Liechtenstein, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Nederland, Suriname, Sweden, Aljazair, Czechoslovakia, Fiji, Latvia, Libya, Lithuania, Panama, Slovakia, Slovenia, Rumania, Tunisia.

VISA Application at Indonesia Embassies or Consulates 
Other nationals must apply for visa at Indonesia Embassies or Consulates in their home country. In addition, the visa cannot be replaced with any other of immigration letters. The visa shall then be administered by Visa Officer in the presence of the applicant concerned.
